Just a little over six years ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. However, I was sensitive to the meds that are prescribed to control it.

But when I’m BAD and eat things that cause an acidic reaction (like sugars and coffee,etc) I find relief and a drop in my blood sugars by taking 4 – 1,000mg capsules of the cassia variety cinnamon.
I only need this as an emergency measure because I am diligent about watching what I eat!
I also eat a good amount of pro-biotic foods like sauerkraut or kefir and this keeps my digestion good.
I also noticed that cinnamon also lowered my blood pressure when I needed a boost from the meds I’ve been prescribed.
I am trying to eliminate drugs from my diet due to bad reactions and over time they lose effectiveness and something else is needed.
